The initial interview with UA w/ the Aviate program gives you about the same chances of flying for them as someone off the street. An “offer” after initial interview secures nothing because you can still get turned down for unknown reasons during the final review/second interview phase as is happening to a lot of folks. Just read all the UA regional forums.
