Just read all the UA regional forums.
On this note, I wonder when exactly they do the background check. I know they don’t do it before inviting you to the interview. I got my invite within a day of submitting my app. I also got the phone call saying I was successful only 3 business days after the interview. They may or may not have time to run the background check and compare to the application in that amount of time. I have heard of people that went through the entire process of applying, interviewing and getting the offer within a couple of weeks.
My point is, you can guarantee they have to do one within 60 days of your class date. That’s law. They probably don’t spend the money to do one before interviewing/offering you the job.
I am in the corner of most of the guys getting turned down in final review have something popping up during the background check. Their attendance, etc. probably has nothing to do with it.
