It would seem like Spirit and other non-MAX operators are capitalizing on this and growing good market share. For example Southwest dropped some service out of EWR and Spirit picked up on it. Seems like stuff like this will really help Spirit grow. What are yalls thoughts?]
Southwest’s fleet size is 5 times NK currently, I think we have a very long way to go before we eat significantly more into their market share (than we already have).
If SW wanted to be in EWR, they would have adjusted their route structure to be there. They have dozen of routes with 5-6-7 frequencies a day, we have a handful, which is why our aim for the coming year is to reinforce our route structure rather than extending too far into new markets.
