Because Pinnacle's second year pay is only $24 an hour. A jet pilot with a years experience is
worth a lot more than that. So what if the upgrade is good at Pinnacle, second year FOs should not have to suffer. Worth even more than the $34 an hour that XJT pays second year, or Horizon's $42 an hour. A second year guy at XJT can pull in $40k, I don't know if thats possible at Pinnacle.
Also, because they havent figured out rates for the CRJ900.... but they are still flying it! Mainline aircraft for sub-regional pay!.Even PSA guys turned down the 900 because the pay was too low.
If Pinnacle fixed those things it might be ok.
