At 2.42mm/year I'm not too concerned about the Keys housing market crashing anytime soon. Add 2 blocks to your stilts and you'll be fine for the next century.

No, it shows one dimensional thinking.

There is infrastructure to consider, ya know, one road in and one road out for the Keys. Someone loses. Either the home owners in the low lying areas or the tax payers for the entire state.
