Rarely able be taken advantage of due to red/redder especially if you have a 4(or 5/6) day trip. Want to work more hours? Sure it might work for you. Trade a 4/5 day for a 2/3? Good luck. I had a 4 day in Nov that I tried to trade for a 4 day(with more hours) on the same days. The trade was denied by the computer. I called CS and was told it was denied because my trip arrived later in the day than the open time trip. A nice window into the mindset of CS.

My day off earlier this month was moved from a Saturday to a Monday. Ended with me working 6 days in a row and missing a planned dinner on Friday night.(This actually ended up working out in my favor due to having more hours than everyone else)
Also able to work into your day off until 12 noon with no repercussions to the company.
Only duty limits are FARs.........
