Well it’s locked now. Definitely sad to see some guys hope your airline “bleeds” but hey they are the professional pilots. I don’t think a single one of us thinks we would be wide body captains or anything like that. Its funny you never get that attitude when one requests a jumpseat or you take the FA jumpseat so they can catch a ride from FLL to DCA up front. I’m sure 99.9% of their guys are good but some posting there definitely have a superiority complex. Yes right now a career at United is worth more.

I don't understand this whole "they're coming to kill us in Boston!" thing.
Delta hasn't killed us in JFK yet, and won't. Delta has a larger operation than us in MCO, and we haven't been run out of MCO.
United hasn't managed to run Frontier or Southwest out of DEN. Spirit operates a hub out of DTW. Sun Country is based in MSP.
Most major cities have capacity for more than one large operator.
