In this crazy hiring culture, esp. with 'Flow Through's" and such, it sure as heck, ain't their love for the CRJ. More like having some skeletons in their closets, (so to speak)...i.e. past/present training issues, personality issues, no 4 year college degree or just simply unable to pass an interview!!
I can speak for both of them. They are excellent instructors and are instructors because 1. It pays insanely well (you don't wanna know how much they make but its comparable to mainline captain pay.) 2. They're home every night. No 4 days gone from home, No overnights and nasty LaQuinta's, none of that. Idk about you man but making over 200k a year home every night doesn't sound too bad to me.
