When you are “on” expect to be Away from your base. Overnights in base are rare but they do happen.
I was based in CLT and in 13 years RON'd at home maybe 2 or 3 times. Now if you live in PBI, TEB, MDW, DAL, etc there's a higher chance since those are "hub" cities for NJA.
