Flow numbers are incredible. The flow is 100% spooled up and humming like a well oiled machine.
We have multitudes of highly qualified pipeline instructors working hard at their academies and just waiting in the wings for their shot at Envoy. What does hiring loads of pipeline guys mean? MORE FLOW. Don't forget that Envoy basically invented the pipeline system that everyone else seems to have tried to copy in some form or fashion. And the flow? Well fughetaboutit. Nobody seems to have been able to duplicate that master stroke.
We are looking right down the barrel at an ADDITIONAL 20 E175s coming onboard later in the year. Highly possible that a new base gets added.
Upgrades for some are right out of the gate and as soon as you hit 1000 Envoy SIC for our highly qualified pipeline pilots. Flowing to AA just a few years down the road makes this THE place to go for aspiring aviators.
I flowed last year and if you said I drink a bit of company kool aid, you would be right. But taking in a bit of kool aid in moderation is good for all I firmly believe. And rightfully so as things are operating so smoothly with the synergies between Envoy and AA.
Here's to another spectacular year at the Voy!
1. If by spooled up you mean about to decrease, than yes you are correct.
2. Define "a few years down the road". Most consider a "few" three. People are not and will not flow in three years. If you mean 6-7 years, OK, I can buy that but you dont want to say that, you want to say "few" to support your narrative.
3. A new base is a blessing and a curse. Great for those that can use it but will ultimately bring about worse schedules for most as it thins the herd even more.
4. "Highly qualified pipeline pilots", as in flight instructors that signed up to the cadet program? That makes them no more uniques in terms of qualifications than any other cfi going to another regional.
5. If you mock Cujo for coming back to his old stomping grounds why do you do it if you "supposedly" flowed a year ago?
Anyway, like an above poster said, Envoy isn't the best and isn't the worst. If it's a right fit for you, welcome aboard, if not, best of luck elsewhere. I will say it is better now than it was a few years ago.
