I think this just became my new baseline for contract improvements!
Any company that spends profits (or borrows $$$ for Zeus's sake!) just to purchase company stock is out of ideas. Or wants to inflate stock options that are typically reserved for the upper echelons of management compensation. Or both.
I'm not even unhappy with our current contract. That tag hit a nerve though. I'm going to steal that quote and hold onto it for the next couple of negotiating years.
