My personal opinion would be to go for united +$1 (so the egotistical delta pilots can still say they are the highest paid) and focus all the negotiating capital on work rules.
We’re not asking for a 10% raise.
If we’re asking for a 56% increase in retirement DC (16% going to 25%) PLUS the MBCBP lump sum, I will postulate that we’re asking for a 60% pay raise.
