This just tells me that all our contracts are so bad that most of the list is unwilling to accept being junior, more so in the domestic system. But it's great for junior guys to be able to make some coin...if you're schedule is going to suck either way, might as well make the cash!
honestly I’m the last guy to defend AA, but our rsv is pretty good. No airport rsv like you get at UAL, 2-3 hour short call, 12 hour long call. Rsv pilots can’t be put in RO or rerouted if you prefer. Senior folks often bid reserve here. The down side is unless you’re a really senior rsv, you’ll need to accept min guarantee credit. People probably just don’t want to commute to rsv and spend days in a Crashpad. Thing is movement is so great right now that waiting a couple more bids to get exactly what you want is pretty easy.
