If you live in Boston and want to stay in Boston, look at Republic for the Boston base as mentioned above. If you don’t mind commuting to NYC in your regional career, Republic, Envoy, and Endeavor have the largest presence in NYC and at this point (subject to change obviously) it looks like they’ll be around the northeast longer than Skywest. Nobody loves commuting but BOS-NYC is one of the industry’s more do-able commutes due to the frequency and number of carriers operating the route. (And if you’re into taking advice from the internet, research the work rules/overall benefits packages at the various regional airlines. Helps to make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into before you get yourself into it.)
