Here is the main issue though. From management’s position, nothing is broken. The operations runs, and it doesn’t matter if the pilot group is unhappy. To them, pilots are whiners and it’s in their nature to complain.
So if it ain’t broken, then there’s nothing to fix. Things will only change if and when attrition shows a trend in going up and/or if recruiting fails and pilots stop showing up to class.
PDT management has never been known to be proactive and get ahead of problems. Kick the can down the road and react to the problem later when it’s only a problem for them.
