What he said, use the FOIA process (not PRIA), and request a copy of your airman records. That should be pretty definitive, although paper-pushers do make mistakes.

Also check the Pilot Records Database online, that will give you an instant answer but is NOT yet definitive since it is still under development. If a violation appears in the PRD, that would be definitive, if it's absent that would not be definitive (my for example PRD is incomplete).
