The union recently put out information in this. They used this to explain why the daily minimum for union work and static demos went down to about 2.6 hours of FDP credit after an entire year of data showing averages. It was 3.2 to start. The union actually stated that the average work tour for all pilots came out to 16.91 hours of flight time per tour for the 3rd quarter. That would be around 4.8 hours of FDP pay per tour on average across the board. The other 2 four month "quarters" for 2019 averaged slightly higher, but less than a whole hour more per tour. For a 7&7 pilot with 4 vacations per year that would be 20 tours at about 5 hours of FDP pay per tour. This would would only be 100 hours of FDP pay for the year or $11800. That does seem way low, but those are the actual numbers given by the Union. My best guess is that the average includes the 100+ pikots out on medical leave and also the union pilots that are on union duty rather than flying. I thought I read an average of 20K in FDP from the union also, but I couldn't find that email. There really are many who cranked out 30K to 40K in FDP, but that wasn't average, especially in the legacy fleets that have many more mx issues.
