Your reading comprehension is poor. I said you’d be making $50-$60 more as a F9 Captain for a couple years before you’d have the chance to upgrade at Jetblue on the Airbus and drive to work. Although it’s offset a little by Frontier’s low first year pay rate.

If you are unaware of JetBlue’s work rules, how do you know that difference between the pay rates can be easily negated? If your contract was that strong, it would’ve been included in the new SWA contract comparison guide with the Big 3, Alaska, Jetblue and Spirit.

The worst part of your argument is that this person would be commuting to a F9 base out of Boston....basically ruling out the ability to pick up soft time to make up that 12% difference you alluded to. He would make more flying a 190 “regional jet” driving to BOS as a Captain vs commuting as a Frontier Airbus CA.

This is why I shake my head when people create these “Airline vs Airline” threads. To the OP, talk to your friends or people who work at these airlines that you TRUST. It’s only your career we’re talking about.
