Were you able to have a Delta pilot submit an internal recommendation? If your application is competitive (looks like it may be from your posts) then that will accelerate the process significantly since it will guarantee that your app will be scored. Many times, getting your application looked at and scored is more than half the battle.
I have several friends working there who offered to submit one on my behalf...was thinking I would wait to ask for one as you can only do one/year and I just submitted.
