The airline Apps Rec, in an of itself, does not generate an “app pull” to get your app scored, but will contribute to your score if pulled.
The internal email sent by a current Delta pilot to the Pilot Hiring Dept does guarantee a pull and scoring within 30 days, but is not the
only way to get your app scored.
It is not like known outside the Hiring Dept what parameters get your app pulled without an “internal” email. So, your second sentence is technically correct. As has been cited many times, your app can only be scored once per year, regardless of why it is pulled. So plan accordingly and ensure your app is perfect. Good luck.
