This thread is ridiculous. Why don’t you non tippers just come out and say “I don’t tip because I’m a tight wad” instead of making all these excuses.
I flew with a captain many years ago. We went out to lunch. He threw a tantrum because the restaurant wasn’t going to give us a discount since neither of us brought our airline ID’s. Eventually, after getting the manager involved, they relented and gave us a discount.
After devouring all his food the captain declared his meal unsat and said he wouldn’t be leaving a tip. Unbeknownst to him I left a tip to cover both our meals.
What I’m reading here reminds me of that. Just say it, “I don’t tip because I’m a tight wad”
