We are implementing preferential bidding as we speak. It in a test/learning phase for May and June. It will probably be implemented for the July bid unless there are significant problems. I can't answer your question about reserve bidding with PBS because I'm not on reserve and I'm still trying to learn the system myself.

You would get 12 -13 days off as a 3 year FO in EWR with the possible exception of the 777 which you would not be able to hold anyway.

B-plan is sort of like a 401K. It is put into our account and we can invest it as we wish as long as it is part of the Schwab plan...

As far as days off, I have been here less than 1 year, IAH based 737 and I am getting a hard line which I can manipulate to 15-16 days off with the occasional weekend off....this could change once PBS becomes live....
