You may be on to something with that thought. If everything is as you say, I'm thinking there must be an automatic disqualifier that is triggering the TBNT responses. Do you have a First Class Medical and a valid US Passport? There are certain questions that if you answer "No" to, it will be an automatic rejection, regardless of how well you think you interviewed.
Also, if you have a social media presence
at all, spend some time cleaning it up. Anything they can find is fair game - including years old social media posts, etc.
