No. I am simply saying that I believe the question is looking simply for years of school. In my example, 3.5 years doesn’t normally equate to a Bachelor’s. Maybe an associates that took too long. If the point of the question was in fact to match “years of school” with typical degree than this wouldn’t have worked either. What about people that take 6 years to complete a Bachelor’s but it’s because there major changed and they transferred? Or double majored? Transcripts tell far more information and they will look at them. So I think the question is just a question. Not necessarily a scoring data point.
In 2016 WAI Delta briefing, they said if is a 4yr, and it took 5 yrs is the same amount of score. If it took longer, then they will look at the gpa, type of degree, etc.
They also prefer aviation degrees. But this was in 2016, times and procedures could have changed to the scoring system.
