What happened over those 80 years? The economy grew, standards changed, the industry changed... JB pilots don't have to slog it through 80 years of crap to get a contract on par with theirs. That's a total management-enabling fallacy. JB pilots provide the same narrowbody service and product as DL/UA and achieve similar success, therefore their compensation should be similar.
