Take this post with a grain of salt. There were a couple people in this region that really enjoyed making more work for the rest of us. Many have been managed out by said “goons”. Basic IFR flying is part of the job...like it or not. Throughout the company, staffing hasn’t been better in a long time and the company appears to have a real focus on supporting their employees. I guess the connotation here is that flying in severe turbulence constitutes basic IFR flying. Most pilots would absolutely disagree with this connotation. If you agree with it (basic IFR flying = flying in severe turbulence), then by all means go to work for Guardian. You’ll take a lot of flights and work with some great medical crews.
