In all this talk I am seeing an impression that everone seems to think if DAL was to merge with someone, it would be a purchase by DAL. It was only a year ago that US Airways wanted DAL, does anyone think that with no current replacement of exucitives that DAL is considering laying down the playing cards?
Besides, I think overall the government will not allow any combination of the Legacy's to join, however, I can see Alaska, Jet Blue, Frontier, Midwest being consumed by the Legacy's.
