The 320s haven't been using the sims in MIA for the past several months and I believe with a combo of FTD2 and E periods, there is no MIA training scheduled on the 320 at this time. The 330 and 350 may be a different story. But talk about a good deal for a new hire that got to go to MIA.
I had training in MIA 3 yrs ago. It was a blast + company paid hotel + per diem, my check after OE wasn’t bad because the per diem covered the transition from Training Pay to Flight pay.
