Any word from TK about what they expect for the Max? Boeing says that it will probably be certified mid year, United says that it won’t fly this summer, and then a day or two later the FAA says it could return sooner. Being that we have committed heavily to the Max, are we picking up orders that other airlines drop? Hindsight is sure 20/20 on this deal. I was originally a fan of the Max, but now I really wish we had gone with the NEO.
Just had CQMV a couple of days ago. Instructor had no real info about expectations but he did tell us that the first MAX FTD is installed and ready to go but the FAA will not certify it due to the plane being grounded.
