With the exception of being able to drive a short distance to work, seniority is everything in this business. Want a summer vacation, weekends off, commutable trips, etc, etc it all rides on seniority. Barring AA going Chapter 7 then AA is the place to be right now. In a couple of years it might be better to start somewhere else but for the last couple of years this is the place to start at. I am glad to be here and believe it or not turned a down an interview at Fedex, a CJO at UAL/SWA for AA. Delta called 18 months after starting at AA I didnt go to that interview either. Maybe I am dumb (probably, I am an Army guy so I is stupid) but all this doom and gloom is silly.
