Just a bit of perspective, I got my CJO 7 weeks ago, and don't have a class date yet. The original hiring plan of ~40/class would have put me in class in early February, but with the reduction in frequency and class size due to the Max's continue groundings means starting in Mid/Late March is most probable now.

I do think the next few months will be like this, then it will go back to the goal of ~6 weeks between CJO and start date. Last Friday, United did a hiring brief with AeroCrewSolutions V-Fare and United said they are still planning on hiring more in 2020 than they did in 2019, so the back half of the year will be busy.
