Do we need better rates? Yes, but we don’t need the highest rates to make most happy. We need to fix lots of other things like disability/health insurance, chopped up trips and reserve Manning. My point is if we sign our Ta before the others and have “caught up” or pass, but then they sign and go +5% over us will people be angry here? Yes, but if we get other wins I don’t see a problem.
And that is exactly why Show me an airline more successful than SW since its inception. Why shouldn't we be highest paid? Look at at least 3 other work groups here that are. And some by a huge margin.
