Seniority in your class goes by age with the oldest being more senior. I would suggest that you bid the 737 as you will have a better quality of life. Most 737 pilots can get advanced to IAH within 3 to 5 months and a bit longer to CLE. I have not seen anyone go to GUM in quite a while.
Calpilot - can you give some insight on what sort of pay to expect first year? I know what this website says the base pay is, but I was wondering about the soft pay and a real estimate of monthly pay credit. I'm trying to figure out how much extra cash I'll need to get through the first year. Also, while QOL may be better on the 737, would first year total pay be better on the 756? Also, I intend to try to get IAH asap. How does that effect the above? Thanks.
