I can tell I would enjoy flying a trip with everyone who has made a comment - you guys are great. I would never post a picture, but you’ll just have to take my biased word on whether or not she’s a looker.

Her argument is family - and I get it. It may sound bad, but I’m more concerned about MY immediate family and quality of life during the 340 days of the year that we are together rather than the maybe 25 days a year we actually see cousins, nieces and nephews. That 25 days will inevitably shrink as the family gets older and swimming, soccer, dance - whatever, takes precedence, as well as friends. In my opinion, as a person who has had a job since Junior High without a break in service to pay for everything from bikes, clothes, college, pilots licenses, etc., I put value on hard money earned being saved. Maybe that skews my view? Maybe not.

She is frugal, but wants a final home and is willing to overextend to get it - seeming to not place importance on daily expenses and impending high student debt coming due. My only debt is a car, and would like to limit it to that and a mortgage that is affordable. And not give literally 50% of my wages to teacher pensions. It’s not an exaggeration for those who aren’t familiar with IL taxes. It’s a joke.
