yeah, but at least they would HAVE something else. When 25% of your current taxes are ALREADY going to fund LEGACY pension costs and you are cutting back on police and fire on duty TODAY because of it, and when that is STILL not keeping up and you are going to have to increase the amount in future years, and you are STILL falling further and further behind, and that doesn’t even count the fact that there are more people in the pension pipeline now that the tax base is going to have to cover, while you have a declining population of people in general and taxpayers in particular who will be paying those taxes...

They are building what the tactical aviation community calls a ‘square corner’ and don’t have anywhere near the thrust they need to avoid hitting the terrain.
