If your end game is AA I would stay put, become a check airman and apply off the street while having the flow in your back pocket.
If AA isn't your end game then move on, leaving after 6 months isn't going to hurt you getting hired at a major airline. If you want AA you are just making your chances harder because of the odds of getting hired off the street vs flow.
