150k is not realistic first year. Since training usually take several month and even though you are on the CC72 pay you are missing out on a lot of soft money. So you really have about 8 to 9 month to work the 76 day, long tour, and FDP, extending every day when able. So 150k is someone inflating the truth.
100k year one is realistic though. Although if you go on 7/7 year 2 you take a pay cut. and factor going from year 1 to year 10 as only around 50k increase in that pay.
