how much does it cost envoy for outside attrition versus flow. you leaving either from flow or another job elsewhere. outside attrition keeps the flow down in the amount of years to flow. the cost is about equal, so you have no leverage to increase flow unless you work for less.
My point is that AAG loses the people. Although it does cost the same to replace some one to flow as OAL attrition, people who stay for the flow means the company has them longer.
But maybe what they want is to take from other regionals. But no airline is going to hire away enough from other regionals to put them out of business. So in that case the flow really is just a sham. Of course most of us know that.
