Did HR look into said conviction prior to an interview? I want to be honest but at the same time I would like to state that it is expunged. The conviction will not be expunged until a few months after I apply to the airline.
No problem. No, there is no section on Pilot Credentials for AA asking about convictions. I assume if they want to know they'll ask you or give you the "Anything not on your app you want to tell us about?" opportunity to clear it up. I have buds at AA that had hiccups in the past and said it wasn't a major issue. They all are at AA now. You're on a good track. Expunged, issue well in the past, and you'll be up front about it so I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck.
