That's true. The abuse of power comes from the fact that the President DEMANDED the state drop all the lawsuits against him. That, my friend, is a quid pro quo...the very definition of an abuse of power. The Senate has made sure that the President will NEVER be challenged on that subject again. Its open season for the way he's always done business. That's probably why he doesn't consider it wrong doing.

The constitution wasn’t amended by the acquittal of president trump. The checks and balances still exist within the constitution as it did before trump was inaugurated.
