SWA also has ZERO international flying. When 9-11 happened, they didn't have 777's and 747's stuck all over the globe paying humongous hotel bills for all their passengers. that has to be one of the silliest excusses for what happened after 9-11. how long were they their, a week. that doesn't explain the losses for the next few years.
southwest's model may be different but they do the exact same thing and that is get people from point a to b. just because you fly to different destinations doesn't mean it's different.
