Maybe thats not a bad place to be. If you’re displaced can you bid any seat any base? Or do you have to stay in base and change equipment?

If you’re displaced they will remove your seat lock and you can go anywhere that your seniority allows. It would suck to go through two rounds of training but at least you come out on the other side without a seat lock.
The company will also pay for your move if you’re changing bases (there are some caveats with this but I don’t want to look them up).
