And while it's true that being available in 14 hours seems like an "advantage" to CS, in the past seven months, I have had only one callout near the 14-hour mark. Most are around 24-48 hours in advance,. I also enjoy the fact that CS doesn't call me (other than that one 14-hour callout), so I am not on the hook to respond within 15 minutes.
You must be an outlier. I get called all the time, 2am-5am calls are the worst. True a lot of assignments come in the DRO, but I’d say it’s closer to 50/50 for me. Missed a call at 4 am once, woke up at 7am to find they had marked me advised when they left the voicemail. I guess they saved me a UTC, thanks?
