It would be doable, but tough. Commuting anywhere in FL can go pretty senior. There are people that commute from TPA to SFO to fly the 777, so compared to that JAX to EWR won’t be as bad. Just be ready to use the commuter policy from time to time. My commute is all rj’s. I usually miss a trip 2-3 times a year, but I just give the two flights required by contract. Going home is when it hurts. Nothing like watching a regional new hire get a seat in the back while you go to a hotel and wait until the next day to play the game again. Also, being that you’re talking about EWR, any time they are having weather delays, your 50 seat rj to JAX will get canceled more often than not. Commuting stinks, but it beats the hell out of living in Jersey.
