Nothing in the FAA moves quickly as far as non-urgent official rule changes. But similar to what was posted above, Osprey folks (and by that I mean folks that only flew the Osprey, no other fleet aircraft) are going VFR direct to the legacies, and in a recent case FedEx (before hiring slowed down).
The question is on the ATP side for me. I’ve got 1800 helo hours and 1200 V-22 hours but my only pure fixed wing time is in the T-6. Waiting on this rule change before I drop $15K on the ME time I’d need for the ATP.
