You are applying for a job that, if successful, will net you $10M in a 35 year career. Why would you not use EVERY resource available to you? Sell your mountain bike in the classifieds. Don’t go on vacation this Spring. Borrow the money from Aunt Millie. But don’t skimp on the last few $1000s of dollars. Use every interview prep advantage you can. This is the time to throw all your cards on the table.
It is a great job at a great Company! Now get hired and take my place as I retire this year!

I 100% agree with this sentiment! I was criticized by some of my peers for attending WIA, OBAP conferences, spending money on application reviews, Emerald Coast interview prep before I had actual interviews. When I finally got my shot I surely wasn’t going to worry about spending another $300 for RST. Do whatever it takes, it’s an investment in your future. Persistence paid off, after years of active prep and searching, I was lucky enough to have class dates at both Delta and Fedex.
