I 100% agree with this sentiment! I was criticized by some of my peers for attending WIA, OBAP conferences, spending money on application reviews, Emerald Coast interview prep before I had actual interviews. When I finally got my shot I surely wasn’t going to worry about spending another $300 for RST. Do whatever it takes, it’s an investment in your future. Persistence paid off, after years of active prep and searching, I was lucky enough to have class dates at both Delta and Fedex.
I remember thinking I shouldn't have to go/couldn't afford to go to job fairs. Then all my friends going to job fairs started getting hired. I got over myself and only wish I'd gone sooner. Interview prep is definitely worthwhile, even if it only improves your confidence.
