At this point, they are just recycling old stories and churning out max headlines. This is old, like way old. When the accountants at Boeing decided to make AOA an option on their airplanes (SWA NGs don't have it except on the HUD even though the story says it is a standard feature), they put a price on safety. This pattern of behavior has come home to roost and now Boeing is paying the price. This whole thing about AOA came out early last year.
