Delta Airlines made $6.2 billion last year. If it stopped outsourcing to regionals would it suddenly become unprofitable? I'm going to say "No". I think the 10-K backs me up. The money that fuels mainline wage and benefit increases is available regardless of regional pay. Low regional pay subsidize nothing but increased profits for management and Wall Street.
