I'm planning on getting my SWA app in this window for FO (getting the app reviewed by Cage this week - I already have apps in at the other majors since Dec/Jan). I was also thinking of applying to their Flight Crew Training Instructor position as another option/backup, because I'm qualified. I also don't want to be out of work in May when my terminal is done. Thoughts on this being a good/bad idea? Not sure how the company would view it. I would not want to do it if it compromises my chances at FO.
